WHATS ON IN NOVEMBER/DECEMBER

Well done to all of you who played a part in our 3 matches against Trowbridge Wanderers last Saturday despite the awful weather,we thoroughly enjoyed it-they certainly didnt!!
Saturday 15th Nov;The A team has a friendly v Devizes Town,kick off 10-45,the B team has their re-arranged league match v Mere Town kick off 11-30 and the C team has a friendly v Chippenham Town,kick off 12-30,please arrive half an hour prior to kick off.All of these games are being played at Silver St lane due to the flooding at woodmarsh.
The tea hut will now be open on all of our matchdays either being run by us or the u9 age group,Hopefully the hot drinks will help keep the winter cold at bay.
Saturday 22nd Nov;The A team have an away league match v Westbury Youth.Kick off 12-00,please arrive half hour prior to kick off,directions to follow.
Saturday 13th Dec;Both teams have a league match v Melksham Park,the B team at 11-00 and the A team at 12-00,both at Woodmarsh,please arrive half an hour prior to kick off.
Saturday 20th Dec;Trowbridge Town Youth xmas fun day,each mini soccer age agroup has been paired with a youth team age group,we have been paired with the u13s,all the children will be mixed up and play their own little tournament on 1 pitch throughout the morning,santa will referee and all the usual stalls will be there,it is hoped everyone will stay on to watch Trowbridge Town v Malmesbury in the afternoon,entry is £1 for everyone.
Tuesday 30th Dec;Soccer workshop,your child will need some fresh air by now so why not book them in with jo king(07515 759037) to attend.

In the dressing/referees room and the stands



Trowbridge Town @ Swindon Town



On Saturday 11th October 23 children and 19 adults set off for the County Ground to take part in a SWINDON TOWN football in the community day.We started off with a tour of the ground including the dressing rooms,referees room,stands and club shop.We then made the short trip to St.Josephs school to use their 1st class facilities for an hour and quarters training session with the Swindon Town coaches,we then had lunch before heading back to the County Ground to watch the warm up and match v Huddersfield Town(the least said about that the better!!).All the children and adults thouroughly enjoyed their day and would like to thank all the staff at Swindon Town for making us so welcome.

The Teams



Here they are-Trowbridge Town u7 A and B teams,The B team are sporting their new kit supplied by Ollies dad Andrew Cook and his company JELF.

Good luck to both teams as they play their first home league fixtures this weekend against Bradford Youth,the A team kick off at 11-30am with the B team kicking off at 12-30pm.Both fixtures are being played at Woodmarsh.

Carnival time for Trowbridge Town u7s


We had a great time at this years Trowbridge carnival,nearly 3/4 of our age group turned out for the event,all dressed in their kits and new tracksuits.All the parents helped out too with julie in charge of face painting!All the children behaved impeccably during the procession and were a credit to Trowbridge Town,some even managed to keep going til midnight at the carnival disco!!.Many thanks to Mike Draper (u8) and Chris Parker(kids club)for all their help and support.

2008/09 season

Welcome back for the new season,now that we are u7 things get alot more exciting.
We are due to start playing friendly matches in early october,as soon as i know when i will post the information on the website.
Our new training slot is Monday evenings 6-7.15pm at John o Gaunt school on the astro turf.
We aim to keep everyone up to date with whats going on in our age group through this page,ie fixtures,match reports,pictures,social/fundraising activities.
